Found mold after a leak? Call us first. We'll tell you whether it's a cleaning job or a real remediation, refer you to a licensed mold remediation company we trust, and then rebuild the drywall, flooring, and cabinets once it's cleared.
Sound familiar?
Call about this if…
- A musty smell in a bathroom, closet, or laundry room that doesn't go away
- Dark spots on drywall, grout, or ceilings, especially after a roof or plumbing leak
- A slab leak, a burst pipe, or a long-running drip under a sink
- An escrow inspection or tenant complaint flagged mold
- A past repair that painted over the problem instead of removing it
- A remediation company already opened the wall and you need it rebuilt
The mold story that goes wrong: a company you found online tears out the wall, hands you a bill, and leaves you with bare studs and no one to close them. Or a handyman paints over it and it's back in a month. Here's the straight version. Mold removal is its own licensed trade, and we don't do it. We refer you to a remediation company we've seen do it right. They contract with you directly for the removal. We find and fix the water source and do the rebuild, so the room ends up finished, not just dried out.

Process & permits
How Mickey handles it
Call and describe what you see and where the water came from. Mickey tells you whether it's a wipe-and-seal job or a real remediation.
If it needs remediation, we give you the name of a licensed mold remediation company we trust. You hire them directly for the removal.
While they schedule, we find the leak or ventilation problem that caused it and quote the fix and the rebuild in writing.
The remediation company removes the affected material and runs clearance testing.
Once it's cleared, we fix the water source and rebuild drywall, flooring, cabinets, and tile so it looks like nothing happened.
Mold removal is a separate licensed trade. Any And All Construction does not perform remediation. We refer you to a remediation company, and they contract with you directly for that work. We may receive a referral fee from them; it never changes what you pay.
Mold comes back if the water source isn't fixed. Our part of the job always starts with finding the leak or ventilation problem and fixing it before the walls close.
Small surface mold on tile or grout is a cleaning job, and we'll tell you that on the phone instead of pointing you to a remediation.

Straight Answers
Common questions
Do you do mold removal yourselves?
No. Mold remediation is a separate licensed trade. We refer you to a licensed, insured remediation company we've worked alongside, and they contract with you directly for the removal. Any And All Construction fixes the water source and does the rebuild afterward.
How much does mold remediation cost?
The remediation company quotes their own work. A contained area like one bathroom wall usually runs $1,500 to $5,000; attics, crawlspaces, and multi-room jobs run higher. Our rebuild is quoted separately, in writing, before anything starts. Phone estimates are free.
Do you get paid for the referral?
Sometimes the remediation company pays us a referral fee. It doesn't change their price to you, and we'd refer the same company either way. We'd rather tell you than have you wonder.
Will my homeowner's insurance cover mold?
Sometimes. Sudden water damage, like a burst pipe, is often covered; long-term leaks and neglect usually aren't. We document the rebuild with photos and a written scope so your claim has what it needs.
Can I just paint over mold or use bleach?
On non-porous tile or grout, cleaning works. On drywall, wood, or insulation it doesn't. The mold is inside the material, and paint seals moisture in. That's the job that comes back in a month.
How long does the whole thing take?
Most single-room remediations run two to five days including clearance testing, then a week or two for our rebuild depending on tile and cabinet lead times. You get our schedule in writing before we start.
